Enter My Me Era with OPI’s Limited Edition Crèmes and Shimmers That Celebrate You in Allll Forms for Summer 2024
This summer, experience unapologetic bold crèmes and shiny shimmers with the limited edition OPI My Me Era collection. Inspired by the celebration of self-expression in allll forms, the extensive color range will include 12 energizing crèmes and 9 bold shimmers. With an extended palette and multiple finishes and formulas, OPI My Me Era puts the spotlight on you–celebrating you being you–in support of The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ young people.
The palette features playful and edgy brights for joyful expression that stands out, like punchy pink, deep purple, and vibrant orange (My Me Era, I Can Buy Myself Violets, Feelin’ Fire). Earthy hues balance out the collection, offering versatile statement-making colors that also have a sense of calm and mysticism. These include deep reds, bold blue, and verdant greens (You’ve Been RED, Dream Come Blue, Pricele$$). Striking shimmers can be worn on their own or layered over the crème hues and range from illuminating yellow, energizing orange, and glowing green to mesmerizing blues, bold pink, and mystical purple.
"When it comes to color, more is more. At OPI, we are fully leaning into maximal expression, and with 21 new colors in the collection there’s no limit to expressing your individuality at any given moment," exclaims OPI Co-Founder and Brand Ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. “The My Me Era palette is joyful and powerful; pair coral pink, shimmery lime green, and electric kumquat together for an energized, rave-ready manicure, or cultivate calming vibes with earthy jade and cobalt blue tones. I can’t wait to see this one come to life as wearers showcase their personalities.”
“This collection is inspired by movement and life, embracing our consumers’ being hue-ever they want. Every brushstroke and color paints a statement that’s bold and fearless. We were also inspired by the colorful Progress Pride flag designed by Daniel Quasar, reimagined to include trans people and LGBTQ+ communities of color, which we recognize in partnership with The Trevor Project,” continues OPI Global Director of Color Equity Jill Bartoshevich. “There are two hero shades; My Me Era, is a vibrant, uplifting coral that blends bright pink with touches of red and yellow. The second hero shade, On Cloud Fine, is a bright teal shimmer that epitomizes the energy of summer.”
For the third year, OPI is proud to partner with The Trevor Project to support its life-saving mission to end suicide among LGBTQ young people. OPI's $100,000 contribution will help The Trevor Project continue to provide free and confidential crisis services and recruit additional counselors who are there 24/7/365 answering calls, texts, and chats from LGBTQ young people in need. OPI’s support will also go toward expanding The Trevor Project’s innovative advocacy, research, and public education programs, as well as raise awareness of Trevor’s integrated efforts with the 988 National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
